Account and data deletion — ThaiTrack
You can request deletion of your ThaiTrack account and all associated data, or request deletion of specific data without closing your account. Use the steps below.
1. Delete my ThaiTrack account and all associated data
To permanently delete your ThaiTrack account and all data linked to it:
- Send an email to support@thaitrack.app from the email address linked to your ThaiTrack account.
- Use the subject line Account deletion request.
- We will verify your identity and process the request within 3 days (72 hours).
- We will confirm by email once your account and associated data have been deleted.
After deletion, your account cannot be recovered. Any remaining data is handled as described in “What we may keep” and “Retention” below.
2. Request deletion of specific data (without deleting my account)
To delete only some of your data and keep using ThaiTrack:
- Email support@thaitrack.app from your account email.
- Specify which data you want deleted (e.g. a specific immigration profile, documents, reminders, linked portal credentials, bank balance records, or AI conversation history).
- We will process your request within 3 days (72 hours) and confirm what was deleted.
You can continue using ThaiTrack with your remaining data.
3. What we delete
When you request account deletion (or specific data deletion), we delete the requested data, which may include:
- Account: Email, user ID, subscription status, timezone.
- Immigration profiles: Names, passport and visa details, 90-day and TM30 data, re-entry permits, work permit info, e-visa application data, and related dates.
- Documents: Uploaded files (e.g. passport, visa, receipts) and their metadata.
- Reminders and notifications: Reminder settings, quiet hours, notification preferences, push tokens.
- Profile groups and memberships: Group names, member links, shared addresses.
- Check-in history: Entry/exit and check-in records.
- Linked portal credentials: Stored credentials for immigration portals (e-visa, 90-day, TM30, VFS), if any.
- Bank balance records: Account names, bank names, balances, renewal dates.
- AI advisor: Conversation history.
- Any other data we hold for your account that you ask to have deleted.
4. What we may keep
We may retain the following for limited periods or as required by law:
- Backups: Backups may retain data for up to 90 days before purge.
- Legal and legitimate purposes: Data we must retain for legal, regulatory, or legitimate purposes (e.g. dispute resolution, legal hold) for as long as required.
5. Retention and processing time
We process deletion requests within 3 days (72 hours). Backups are purged within 90 days. Some data may be retained longer where required by law.
